UndoGuard privacy policy

Last updated September 25, 2026

UndoGuard is a Shopify app operated by BizUptime (“we”). This policy explains what we collect when a merchant installs UndoGuard and how we use it. Contact: support@bizuptime.com. Our general company privacy policy also applies.

What we collect

  • Store information: your shop domain, store name, currency, store contact email, and the access credentials Shopify issues to the app.
  • Product data: product titles, descriptions, vendor, type, handle, status, tags, template, publishing state, and variant titles, options, prices, compare-at prices, SKUs, barcodes, tax and inventory settings and inventory quantities, plus the history of changes to these fields.
  • Settings you choose: the email address for alerts and your alert rules.

UndoGuard does not access or store customer or order data.

How we use it

  • To show your product change history and restore previous values when you click Undo.
  • To send the alert emails you have enabled.

We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Change history is kept for your plan’s history window (7 days on Free, 90 days on Pro, 1 year on Plus). When you uninstall, the access credentials are removed immediately, and all store data is deleted when Shopify sends its shop data-deletion request (normally 48 hours after uninstall). You can ask for earlier deletion at support@bizuptime.com.

Service providers

We use Convex (database and backend hosting), Macaly (website hosting) and Resend (email delivery) to run the app. They process data only to provide these services.

Where data is stored

UndoGuard’s database is hosted in the European Union (Ireland) by Convex. Alert emails are sent through Resend, which may process them in the United States.

EU and UK merchants

We process store data to provide UndoGuard to you (performance of our contract) and to keep it secure (legitimate interest). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at support@bizuptime.com. We respond within 30 days.

Changes

We will update this page, and the date above, if our practices change.
